No two Log cabins are the same in Ruka, some are detached, others are joined, and each cabin varies both in terms of style, furnishings, size and layout.

A small number of cabins sleep 4 people while others are great for parties of 6 people.

Most cabins will offer at least one or two bedrooms on the ground-floor (often with twin beds or a set of bunk beds) and from the living room, stairs (which are often steep) that lead to a loft area with additional single beds or pull-out mattresses.  Sometimes the loft has a low ceiling, so don’t forgot to mind your head!

The style of cabin you are allocated will depend on several things including the size of your party and the ages of your children. However, you can sleep easy knowing that we’ll try our best to ensure that the cabin you receive is the most suitable accommodation available for your party.

Our cabins in Ruka are mostly a little bit further from the centre of the village, so we’ll be running a shuttle bus to take you to the restaurant for your dinner each day.

Cabin features include a fully equipped kitchenette, a log fire, a living/dining room, sauna, drying cabinet, and shower room.

A modern-day facility such as WIFI is rarely available in a cabin, however WIFI can be found in the public areas of the hotels in resort.
